Building Baby's Room: Part 5

Today, in an attempt to not think about being 9 months pregnant, I began a little mobile for T's room.  I found pictures and even a free pattern (yes!) at Spoolsewing.com

So I chopped some fabric scraps into bird parts:

Here is an example of a flayed bird.  Heehee.

Stitched 'em up nice and good:

"Please stuff me! I feel so empty!"

"Okay dear birdie face.  I will stuff you.  I will stuff you grood.  I mean good."

So I did just that.  Stuffed.

I even got to practice my horrendous hand sewing.  It is currently dark in our little apartment.  Hence the blurry, funky-color pictures.

Now to organize the menagerie!  Anybody with experience mounting crib mobiles?  From the ceiling?  From the side of the crib?  To be continued.
