It's three giant balls of cookie dough covered in batter and then deep fried. Then they pour chocolate syrup all over it and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
This is how I felt getting ready to take a bite:
This is how I felt after eating one of them...
Okay, I didn't exactly want to puke. Only a little... Normally I'm a big cookie dough fan, but these balls of cookie dough were huge... and fried... Really, I think they were about the size of a snitch... maybe bigger. See below for reference:
So anyway...
Grant ate some too. Amazingly, I think he ate as much or more than I did.
But after a while, we decided that the batter was the best part. The cookie dough was just a little too rich and we liked the crunch that the batter offered.
So we ended up with this:
The verdict:
Worth it? Absolutely.
Eat it again? No chance.
(And that's coming from the ultimate sweet tooth)

Oh my word! That's how we felt with the deep fried Oreos - Tyler and I love Oreos - but when they are fried (an addition we thought would make them even more decadent and delicious) it proved to be not worth it. I'm glad we tried them, but I wouldn't recommend them.
What else did you guys try? I'm completely facinated now...
Yeah- it's a little overkill for sure. That's the only deep fried thing that we did-- they have a T-shirt you can get and check off the top 10 fried things at the fair. I'm amazed that people can do that without throwing up or something! We tried a smoked turkey wing which was pretty good. I have some pictures that I'll probably put up tomorrow.
Oh and Carisa can I get an invitation to your blog? You've been making such fun cute crafts lately! I love halloween decorating!
We got the fried cookie dough last year. It sounded better than it was....we weren't a huge fan, but we HAD to try it!
Yeah for sure! Have you guys gone this year?
Thanks for the message yesterday. I think your fried cookie dough might have been better with "something" to drink, if you know what I mean. :-)
